I’m sitting at the airport just before check-in and looking forward to getting home.

Anyway, since my last update. I arrived in Geneva and spent the afternoon there looking around and catching some of a world championship beach volleyball tournament (though it was the men’s). I know Geneva doesn’t have beaches but they had set up a small stadium on the riverside with loads of sand and it seemed to go pretty well. I did walk further round for a close-up view of the jet de l’eau…

Then, after having received detailed instructions on buses etc. I made my way out to a village/suburb 25 mins out of town towards France to meet Tammy for dinner again. There’s a nice Thai restaurant there where I had duck red curry and sticky rice which was fabulous. Back to my hotel, finished my packing and checked out but not before having one last stroll around town and taking the final glass of wine photo from one of the bridges…

I should be back at the flat, and shortly afterwards in the pub, in about 6 hours which leaves a little time here for some airport shopping and using up the last of my Swiss Francs.

See you all soon, most of you within the next two weeks actually. I may possibly have a big bag of chocolate to be shared out!
